Cheshire East Council, Peaks and Plains housing trust and Age UK are all working together as Life Links, a project to help older people stay independent, healthy and safe, enjoying a good quality of life. But while their experts are helping local communities to ‘live life and stay well’, they found their Co-ordinators needed some way of ‘co-ordinating’ to keep track of where each of the people in their care is up to. So they came to the experts at Thrive.
What the Life Links project sorely needed was a web application for their Wellbeing Co-ordinators – a standalone app and database that could be used in the field. Thrive have developed the initial design to work both on and off-line, enabling Life Links’ Co-ordinators to see where each of their cases – and others in their team – was up to at any given moment. Currently at the testing stage, the early results are encouraging, and the intention is for the app to go live later in 2016.
