Glenigan mark 50 years in construction with new website created by Thrive.

Say ‘Glenigan’ to anyone in the construction industry, and they’ll tell you they’re the leading source of accurate, up-to-date project data and, ultimately, sales leads for suppliers to the market. Last year Glenigan celebrated its 50th year in business, and to mark the occasion they asked creative agency Thrive to carry out a comprehensive review and revamp of their website.

Glenigan’s website is crucial to their business, being the primary source of sales leads for their products – and the challenge they set Thrive was to set a new benchmark for their industry, while also re-asserting their position as market leader and facilitating a greater number of new business leads – challenge accepted!

We started by analysing current website behaviour, together with feedback from the Glenigan team, to build a hierarchy of importance and work out the full scope of the project. The brief to us was to streamline the site, and put the focus firmly on lead generation – and key to this is their ‘pipeline finder’, a simple questionnaire that gives site visitors a window into the Glenigan system so they can see the sort of in-depth project information it offers.

The new website has a more up-front tone, heavily featuring the benefits of using Glenigan and highlighting the facts and figures that demonstrate its effectiveness. Bringing other key elements to the fore, such as the market analysis, insight reports and league tables for which Glenigan are renowned, has helped further cement Glenigan’s position as an authority in its field.
