Our relationship with Coleg Gwent – one of Wales’ top performing colleges, offering a huge variety of full-time, part-time and higher education courses – started with a brief to refresh their brand. Faced with strong competition to attract students of all ages, they needed to look at how their existing design elements could be made stronger and more flexible to help build more awareness for the college and its academic success. But Thrive didn’t stop there…
Initially, we gave Coleg Gwent a fresh new look using a vibrant secondary colour palette, new photography style and more youthful tone of voice. Which then led to redesigning their prospectuses for that year based around the concept of ‘Made for…’, and an advertising campaign to run alongside its launch. Which then led to Thrive undertaking a review of all their course copy for their website, giving it the new tone of voice for an easier-to-use and more appealing format. Which then led to…you get the picture. Over the last two years, Thrive has helped Coleg Gwent stand out and become even more attractive to prospective students – as the results show…
